A quiet system for moving money faster than light.
Tachyon is set in two typefaces, on cream paper, divided by one-pixel gaps. Headlines are small and light. Numbers are mono. Up is sage, down is rust. Everything else is structure.
Color
Cream · ink · rust · 4 status huesThe palette is built on two surfaces (paper and ink) and two signal hues — a quiet sage for positive states and a soft rust for negative ones. Both are desaturated enough to live on cream without shouting. Everything else stays ink, paper, or stone.
Do
- Use sage for positive states — deltas, APY, live, active, settled.
- Use rust (#C94A4A) for losses and errors — never for branding or CTAs.
- Put dark panels next to paper panels — inversion is the punctuation.
- Let hairlines do the work of separators.
Don't
- No saturated green (neon, mint). Sage only.
- No saturated brand colour as accent. The system has no brand hue.
- No gradients, glows, or coloured shadows.
- No tinting paper toward warm gold or cool grey. It stays #E6E3DB.
Typography
Inter · JetBrains MonoTwo faces. Inter handles every legible word — headlines, body, labels. JetBrains Mono handles every number, code string, timestamp, and address. No other typefaces are permitted.
Mark
Logo · lockups · clearspaceDo

- Credit Tachyon when using our materials.

- Use outdated versions or recolored variants.
Spacing & Grid
1px gap · hairline bordersPanels are separated by 1px gaps, not margins. The gap is set to the border color, creating a hairline grid. All border radii are 0px — sharp corners only.
